The Xbox is currently the most powerful (29/12/2003) console on
the market. The main processor is powered by Intel, with the graphics
being dealt by NVIDIA. Both of these are specific to the Xbox only.
Not only are the graphics cutting edge for 2003, but the sound also.
It features 256 audio channels, and supports Dolby Digital and Dolby
Surround. To top this off the Xbox also includes a modem so that
players in the UK can play online using BT broadband. The Xbox is
made by Microsoft who are the largest pc software manufacturer in
the world. Currently the games available are not as extensive as
the PS2, but it has award winning action games like Halo.
