A toolbar is included on a range of software application such as web browers like Internet Explorer and word processors like Microsoft Word. A toolbar is usually situated at the top of the screen and includes a range of buttons which perform the most common actions for that software application. For example the Internet Explorer toolbar includes buttons to refresh the page, go to home page, go back, go forward, view history, view favorites and more.
