A terminal is a device connected to a computer network which usually includes a keyboard, monitor and mouse. A terminal can therefore interact with the computer network to use programs on the network and process commands through the network. You will most likely find a terminal in a large business such as a local high street bank where workers can input / output users information on a computer terminal.
