I got my Timberland boots from a factory warehouse, original and
coming in dark brown leather. I haven't a clue what model they are
called, but they look like a standard pair of boots. The sides go
up just above my ankles, but no further, I have noticed that some
of their boots seem to go halfway up your lower leg. The sole is
about 2 inches thick and after about 5 years of ownership hasn't
worn down at all. The laces are a little frayed, and could do with
replacing. I wear them once a week, they aren't ideal for driving
due to the size of the sole and lack of feel you get from the pedals.
The leather has gone scratched down one side after I drunkenly fell
into some thorns and what not. Otherwise no other shoe has worn
so well for me, I've owned a few pairs of kickers but they haven't
come close in terms of quality and lastability. The looks will also
last a hundred years.
