Hip, wicked and inspired designs are the watch words, do not expect
cushioning or stability. Materials used do ensure they are light
weight and in this respect are like 90 % of running shoes, the look
is much more pretty. When going to the gym I wear my Red or Dead,
but while training wear my Nike AirMax, the Nike provide great anti-pronation
facility for training and fits and supports my feet well, you feel
very stable in them. Sadly the Red or Dead feature none of this
and are purely concerned with looks, they are quite comfy and the
only real negative point is the insole is rather flat. The looks
of my Red or dead Matilde go sensible with all my outfits, they
have a leather upper with stitching and punch out detail and an
adjustable buckle fastener finishes the look. Great for summer wear,
I wouldn't consider them for the winter.
