Based on the moccasin style, which is a traditional North American
footwear. Reached it's popularity peaks from 1995-2000 I feel and
this was when I always owned a pair. I still have a pair hanging
around in my cupboard someplace, they traditionally feature a puckered
u-shape vamp over the instep. Far from cheap at around £70
for an average pair, they are made well and from good quality suede
or leather. Usually sold in either black, light brown or dark brown.
Problems which occurs with my pairs were the sole unevenly wearing
out faster than I would have liked. And the in-sole coming apart
from the shoe and always needing gluing back-in. Quite a few brands
tried to copy Kickers, Pod and Base being the two which handily
come to mind. But none equaled Kickers for their style or quality.
If you still like the moccasin style then you cannot go far wrong
with this brand.

These shoes are made to last a lifetime. Their quality is superb.
I'm from Venezuela and back between 1983-1989 they were all the
rage. To have a pair of Kickers was to be in a different status...The
"Cool" Status.
