I bought these for walking, not to skateboard in. The faux leather
makes them very comfortable and quite light. The colours are mainly
dull grays to pick from, so they could have done with a better choice
of colours. I'm currently training for the Great North Run, which
is a half marathon held in the north east of England. Therefore
I bought a pair of Asics Gel running shoes for my training, but
for general wear I prefer to put on my Duffs. They are so more comfortable
to walk in and surprisingly feel just as light as my running shoes.
They also look a whole heap better, my Duffs only cost me £45,
which for today's prices seems OK. Like I said before my only gripe
really is with the design colours, they really need more variation
in the range. I can't help feeling I would have liked to have something
a little brighter and exciting, but I suppose that's not the style
of skate shoes. In summary if you want a comfy good looking shoe,
then for the money I think you'd struggle to do any better.
