The leather is a quality material, and with a removable inlay (on
my previous pair it was glued in). I like the indie/grunge looks,
with non-sanctioned designs which look seriously kick ass. Contrary
to many people's belief's, Dr Martens are made from real leather
and really support the ankle's, especially heavier people, those
with wider feet might be better off with a CCC boot just released.
What can I say, after two years on and thousands of miles, my Dr.
boots are still bone dry for any weather, looking good and feeling
like my second skin. The sole is getting a little uneven on the
heal, but apart from this I've loved them. They are still quite
an obscure brand, so finding a distributor is not always easy locally
- mind had to be bought online. Look no further for one of the best
traditional boots on the market, with classic looks, supple wear
and cushioning for the insole. A boot that you will either love
or hate.
