Yep you've heard right, if you know DC doesn't come with the best
wear. But the pay-off for this is great board feel, no skate shoes
have grip to equal them and I like the looks as well. The fact they
are light weight helps. Maybe other shoes will last a little longer,
but you won't enjoy your skating as much.

Got my DC Titans a few months back, they look good, are good for
skating, mainly because they feature an excellent lace protection
system, and have good feel and feedback while on board. The major
gripe is this, they are certainly not built to last and this is
criminal when it comes to skate shoes. Unlike say a pair of vans
the materials tear far too easily, just a few weeks of ollies will
fade all the design pattern on the outer shoe and sole. I have now
changed to a new osiris, they are superior to DC in every fashion
and if your a skater you'll be doing youself a favor if you buy
them.
