Shareware is similar to freeware in that it is free to use, but unlike freeware shareware is usually only free for a certain of amount. Therefore shareware is usually trial computer software. Usually after a month period you are required to register the software or the software will be unusable. Sometimes shareware software doesn't include all the features of a registered version.
