Safe Mode

This is a boot up process that is used in Microsoft Windows operating systems such as 95 and 98. The purpose of Safe Mode in Windows is to try and sort problems out (troubleshooting). So when Windows is booted in safe mode it will only load essential programs (does not run the main registry, autoexec.bat and config.sys files) so that Windows will operate properly and allow you to be able to delete and edit files that are causing problems.
