Quicktime is a mutlimedia player that can play and store sound,
graphics, and movie files. Quicktime was first developed for use
on Apple Macintosh computer, but it has now been ported onto other
computer platforms such as Windows and Linux. The extension of Quicktime
files is shown as MOV. Quicktime if free for download at a range
of web sites on the world wide web.
