Platform 
Platform is a term referring to the computer system on which a computer software program runs. For example is someone was playing the computer game Fifa 2003 there could say it is available on a range of computer platforms such as the Xbox, Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube and PC CD-ROM. When describing web browsers such as Opera you could say it supports computer platforms such as Windows, Linux and Macintosh.
