A Peripheral is a device that is connected to a computer such as a printer, modem, mouse or keyboard. A peripheral is usually a device that is connected to a computer but isn't included within the computer case. Other examples of computer peripherals are zip drives, external hard drives, graphics tablets, scanners, monitors and speakers.
