Peer-to-Peer is sometimes referred to as "P2P" and is a network between computers that allows users to share files from each other's hard drives. The one advantage of peer-to-peer networks is that it allows computers to be able to communicate and share resources without the need for a file server. Some examples of peer-to-peer computer programs that allow users to share files on the Internet are Kazaa and Limewire.
