A Macintosh is a type of computer which is made by Apple computers. Unlike a computer that runs a Microsoft operating systems, a Macintosh refers to a computer that is made by Apple and also runs an Apple operating system (Mac OS). Apple Macintosh are famed for their ease of use and a large amount of magazines and newspapers use Apple Macintosh computers to design their publications.
