LINX is the The London Internet Exchange which was formed in 1994 and is the largest Internet exchange point in Europe. A large amount of companies are members of LINX such as BT and Claranet who form a not-for-profit partnership which provides a physical interconnection for its members to exchange Internet traffic through co-operative peering agreements.
