I used to buy their commando golf balls from Argos, I am piss poor
golfer who was lucky to break 100 on the local council owned course.
I would tend to lose all 12 commando balls on a typical round, and
would be saved by the locals were walked around collecting lost
balls and selling bag fulls for a bargain price to useless golfers
like myself. The commando balls were a little on the hard side to
hit, and pretty indestructible if you didn't lose them after every
three holes like myself. They were the cheapest balls available
from argos, definitely under £10 for a box of twelve I think.
I ended up giving up on golf maybe 5-6 years ago but still have
fond memories of it, even if I was embarrassingly poor at it. It's
a great game, and a nice walk in the countryside if nothing else.
Pinnacle commando are most certainly the ball of choice for those
golfers who lose a box full every round, or like the feel of a full
wallet of notes.
