This is a feature included on Microsoft Internet Explorer that does the same thing as a "bookmark" in other browser software. When you find a web site you like and what to save the address to it, then you can add it to your favorites drop down menu on the Microsoft Internet Explorer GUI. The point of a favorites feature on a browser is so that people can quickly access their favourite web sites in the click of a mouse, instead of typing the web site address every time.
