I remember the days of their drain pipe jeans of the late 80's,
at that time they were the coolest jeans money can buy. Like all
fads it died and the brand seemed to disappear from view in the
early 90's replaced by the likes of 'Joe Bloggs' baggies. Well it's
nice to see Pepe sold in more and more shops, their jeans have now
a modern and cool design like always and the difference now is the
amount of variety. Both Pepe and Levi have recently released thread
bare jeans, with material so thin you have to really take care not
to rip the material or stitching. The price is still reasonable
for, generally £5-10 cheaper than a pair of Levi. I would
suggest they are the only brand who keep up with Levi in designing
funky and stylish legwear. You canforget the dinosaurs like lee
and wranglers, they are always 1-2 years behind the times. Pepe
have also branched out into making tops and jackets, I hope they
plan to continue to make more lines like this. A genuine alternative
to Levi, which is from the UK to boot.
