I love the checked patterns, but I suppose the brand has been tainted
by it's crude 'chav' association. There caps being a major mistake
imho, they should have stayed a classy brand without releasing such
mass appeal items. Baseball caps really do not equal exclusivity.
When I've seen some 'z' list celebrities wearing a total drab gold
tartan outfit it really looks no better than a BenSherman outfit
from the 60's. It's sad but true, when a brand is worn by the masses
it loses it's desire factor al la hilfigar jumpers from five years
back. I'd only consider buying Burberry if the badge or pattern
do not display the fact it is Burberry, because the quality is without
question.
