Claranet offer a wide range of services such as web hosting, and domain registration solutions, with access via ISDN, ADSL, VPN, Leased lines and unmetered connections. Claranet have have offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt and most recently Barcelona.

Claranet's focus has been on providing broadband solutions to businesses. The company was created in 1996, and it first began as one of the pioneers of the ISP sector, until it evolved into a MSP. As an MSP, 'Management Service Provider', Claranet manages IT services for other companies, so they can out source all their online operations.

Some of the largest companies to use Claranet's IT management services are the music company EMI, the Football Association of England, the television station Five, and the European aviation manufacturer Airbus.

The company currently has a total revenue of over one hundred million pounds per year, and employ's in the region of five hundred people.
