Cable and Wireless are committed to delivering the Internet promise to their customers; businesses of all sizes, business partners, carriers, services providers, and the public sector.

Cable & Wireless is a British Telecom's company, which become the first company to offer an alternative telephone service to BT. It was also one of the first companies to develop a technology for cable television, but sold it's asserts to NTL about a decade ago. C&W provide the nuts and bolts of telecom's access to corporate businesses, and have a strong International presence.

C&W has attempted to challenge BT's dominance in the broadband market. In 2004 it targeted four hundred exchanges in urban areas, with the promise of providing speeds up to four times faster than BT. As a fierce competitor and critic of BT, history has shown that C&W has not made a huge dent in BT's market share.

C&W broadband services are offered under brand names such as Bulldog and Demon (both of which they purchased from existing ISPs).
