Browser Compatibility is term used by webmasters to describe how their web site looks and works on different browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Browser Compatibility is an important part of designing a web site, because if the web site doesn't load properly or with errors on a certain browser such as Opera, the webmaster is therefore losing a percentage of users to his/her site.
