Wiki was created in 1995 by a man named Ward Cunnigham. It slowly began to dominate the Web and search engines like 'Google' for just about any search. As a free online encyclopedia it covers virtually any topic imaginable and due to it's popularity produces vast amounts of traffic. The work load is provided for free by editors, wiki allows anyone to edit, delete or modify the content placed on the Web site. This has on occasion lead to misleading information being added and sometimes with the intent of malice, but on the whole these mishaps are soon spotted and altered.
