System Restore is a popular feature included with Windows XP. You
can find it on XP by clicking the start menu, programs, accessories
and then system tools. System Restore works by automatically recording
the state and settings of your computer for certain days of any
given week, and also allows the user to create a restore point.
After there is a restore point it means the user can use System
Restore to revert the system to the way it was at that previous
point, and also without effecting any personal data files. This
is especially useful if the computer has a bug or error, because
the user can simply revert the computer to a time when this buy
or error wasn't occuring.
