ROI

ROI stands for "Return On Investment". The term is usually used In relation to search engine and website advertising. Many companies pay per click for advertising on search engines and popular websites. It's often something like $1 per click for advertisements loaded and clicked on search pages for 'loans' and 'credit cards'. So ROI refers to the sales per lead / click from the search engine traffic.
