an open flow of information in a minimalist online setting, and,
which increases social connection. The success of Facebook has propelled

Zuckerberg launched Facebook on the fourth of February in 2004.
At startup, Facebook was only available to Harvard students. It
soon expanded to other universities, and then to the populace in
general. Zuckerberg and Moskovitz moved Facebook's base of operations
to Palo Alto, California, in 2004. The pair originally shared a
home with Napster founder Sean Parker, who was the president of
the fledging company in 2004. Parker retains a 7% share of the company.
As of 2010, Zuckerberg currently owns twenty four percent of Facebook,
and is the current CEO and President of the company. The other co-founders
own between 4-12% of the company. Eduardo Saverin took legal action
over Zuckerberg's dilution of his company shares. Saverin originally
owned 34% of Facebook's shares, which were diluted to below 9%.
