Apple are a computer company based in Silicon Valley which rivals IBM. This is because Apple build their own hardware and create their own software. Very few companies create complete personal computer packages. Apple first released a computer in 1976 and it was created by the company founder Steve Wozniak. Fellow founder Steve Jobs, who had an eye for the future, insisted that he and Wozniak try to sell the machine. Apple’s first formal business plan sets a goal for sales to grow to $500 million in ten years.
